Desmond (Des) Sweeney
Sweeney, Desmond (Des) – 28th February 2026, (Ayrfield and formerly of Cabra).
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at TLC Carton House.
Beloved husband of Helen and loving father of Paul, much loved grandad of Orlagh, Liam and Caoimhe
Desmond will be very sadly missed by his wife, son and daughter-in-law Catherine, grandchildren, sister Nora, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road Coolock, D17FK58 on Wednesday afternoon March 4th from 3pm to 5pm.
Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St Brendan Coolock Village, D05Y316 arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation service in Glasnevin Crematorium.
