WARD, Desmond (Des) (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Mullinasella, Aughnasheelin, Co. Leitrim) October 6th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his family at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Beloved husband of Evelyn and much loved father of Fiona, Jason and Linda.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren Erin, Calum, Katie, Max, Liam, Ferdéa, Rónán, Stella, Aisling and Giorgio, son-in-law Davide, daughter-in-law Kathleen, brothers Kevin and Dermot, sister Evelyn, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brother Tommy.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Thursday evening (9th October) from 6pm to 8pm.

Removal to the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock on Friday morning (10th October) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium.
