The death has occurred of
Desmond (Dessie, Dancer) O'Hanlon
January 29th, 2024; late of Finglas West; Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the staff of St Mary’s Hospital, Phoenix Park, Dublin. Dessie, beloved husband of the late Vera and devoted father of Desmond, Dominic, Sandra, Lorraine, Fiona and Veronica. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken sons and daughters, sons-in-law Dermot, Derek and Terry, daughters in law Caroline and Marion, his adored grandchildren Tracey, Darren, Alan, Kerrie, Alex, Amber, Molly, Grace, Dean, Dylan, Jordan, Holly, Ava, Saoirse, Conor, Shannon, Calum and Katie, his nine cherished great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, nieces, nephews, his wonderful neighbours of Barry Park and his large circle of friends.
May Dessie Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Church Street, Finglas on Thursday (1st February) with family in attendance from 4pm till 7pm. Removal on Friday morning (2nd February) to St Canice’s Church, Finglas Village, arriving for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at St Mary’s Hospital, Phoenix Park for the exceptional care and support shown to Dessie and them throughout his illness.
