Desmond (Dessie) O'Brien
Desmond (Dessie) O’Brien (The Haven Bar, Davis Street and Slattery’s, Lord Edward Street, Limerick) January 8th 2024 peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Milford Care Centre, following a short illness.
Sadly missed by his sons John & Ray, daughter Emma (Murray), their mum Kathleen (Kay), daughters-in-law Caroline & Amy-Lee, son-in-law Niall, grandchildren, Grace & Andrew, Sofia, Doireann & Jacob, Matthew & William. Sisters Colette, Dor, Pauline, Ann & Tilly, his brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives, kind neighbours, and large circle of close friends. Pre-deceased by his parents Flan and Ann (Lucy), his brothers Declan, Raymond & Kevin.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Wednesday (10th January) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Funeral arriving at the Dominicans Church, Glentworth Street on Thursday (11th January) for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by private cremation.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Milford Care Centre.
