The death has occurred of
Desmond Flynn
Desmond Flynn, London and formerly of Greenpark, Ballinea, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, 11th February 2026 (peacefully) in the exceptional care of Cambridge Nursing Home following an illness bravely borne.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, his parents John and Mona, and his brother Kevin.
Desmond will be sadly missed by his brothers John Joe and Adrian, his sisters Esther (Ayres), Marie (Horan), Patricia (McGovern), and Geraldine (Dagg), his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Mary's children, cousins, friends, neighbours, and his devoted carer, Kevin.

Desmond’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, 28th February, at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar at 11am followed by cremation afterwards at Lakelands Crematorium (H12 RF78), Dublin Road, Co. Cavan, arriving at approximately 1.30pm.
