Desmond HARTE

The death has occurred of Desmond Harte, Highwood, Kilmactranny, Co. Sligo, October 3rd 2025, on the occasion of his 78th Birthday. Des passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving wife and family, following a short illness.

 

Pre-deceased by his parents James and Bridget Harte and his brothers, John Thomas, Seamus and Austin Harte.

 

Deeply missed and fondly remembered by his heartbroken family, his beloved wife Josephine, his children Denise, Raymond, Fidelma and Breeda, his daughter-in-law Annette and sons-in-law Cathal, Keith and Janos. His adored Grandchildren Finn, Clara, Ellie, Charlie, Leah, Adam, Aaron, Matthew, Oisin and Emily, his loving sisters Imelda O’Regan and Gabrielle Davey, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relations, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon (F52 WT26) on Sunday evening (October 5th) from 4p.m. until 7pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday (October 6th) at 12 noon in St. Brigid’s Church, Highwood, followed by burial afterwards in Ballindoon Cemetery.

 

House private please.
