Des passed away on the 17th of April at the Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Elizabeth and his sister Sonia (Murphy). Des will be sadly missed by his loving wife Anne and family Olga (Moore), Aaron, Áine and Deasún, son in law Richard, daughter in law Elaine, his grandchildren Aibhlinn, Tómas, Daniel, Caitlin, Tiarna, Mila, Ailbhe and Bláthnaid, sister Philomena (Guilfoyle), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and staff.

Reposing at O'Reilly's Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore (R35 FC84), on Monday from 3.30pm until 6.30pm. Removal from his Home on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to St. Brigid's Church, Clara, arriving for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial after Mass in St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Horseleap.
