Desmond McGILLYCUDDY

Bray, Wicklow / Blackrock, Dublin

McGILLYCUDDY (Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Marian Park, Blackrock, Co. Dublin) – February 14th 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by his family at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital after a short illness bravely bourn. Desmond; dearly beloved husband and best friend of Christine, much loved and adored father of Yvonne and Karen and loving grandad Des to Lorcán and Conall. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons-in-law Kenneth and Eoghan, grandsons, his brothers Eugene, John and Joe, sister Ann and twin sister Bríd, extended family and friends.

 

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Tuesday (Feb 18th) from 4pm to 6pm with family present (all welcome). A Civil Funeral Service celebrating Desmond’s life will take place on Wednesday (Feb 19th) at 2.15pm in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross D6W HY98 (all welcome).
