Dessie Walsh

The death has occurred of Dessie Walsh, Keenaghan, Ballymote, Co. Sligo.

Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his daughter Margaret, his parents John and Kathleen, sisters Eva Delaney, Kathleen Flynn, Doreen Dowling, Joan White, Nuala Bates, Patty McCann, Betty, Teresa and Ann Walsh, brothers JJ and Louie.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Peggy, daughters Bernie, Regina, Angela and Denise, sons-in-law MacDara and Dermot, grandchildren Laura, David, Kevin, Tom, Seán, Kate and Jack, brothers Paddy and Raphie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Perry’s Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.

Funeral cortège will depart Dessie's residence in Keenaghan at 11.40a.m. on Tuesday to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote for Requiem Mass at 12:00p.m.

Burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Cemetery. Dessie’s mass will be available to view at ballymoteparish.org/webcam or on the Ballymote Parish Facebook page.

House private on Tuesday morning please.
