The death has occurred of
Detta (Grace Bernadette) Scully
(née Rainsford)
On the 25th December 2025, Detta peacefully completed her life’s journey at the Mater Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Joe. Loving mother of Joseph, Séamus, Pádraig, Fiona and Bernadette and their spouses Maureen, Hayley, Mike and Paul. She will be sadly missed by her children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Barry, Nicola, Lauren, Leah, Conor, Olivia, Rebecca, Matthew, Colin, Daniel, Alice and Louise, great-grandchildren Alex, Ella and Jack, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Detta’s funeral arrangements are presently being finalised and they will be published here on Monday 29th December 2025
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made in memory of Detta to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
