Diane Wakefield
(née Kelleher)
WAKEFIELD (Little Island, Co. Cork): On October 6th, 2021, peacefully, at home in the presence of her loving family DIANE (née Kelleher) (Peace Commissioner), St.Lappan’s, dearly loved wife of the late John, and much loved mother of Kenneth, Stephanie, Brian, Phillippa and the late Mark and loving sister of Monica, Collette, Noel, Dan and the late Madge, Nancy, Angela, Lila, David, Jack and Martin.
Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law Martin and Ray, daughters-in-law Breda, Nuala and Linda, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends especially the Carry family.
Reposing at her home Thursday (October 7th) from 4.00pm to 7.00pm for family and close friends only.
Requiem Mass at 2.30pm on Friday (October 8th) in St. Joseph’s Church, Little Island. (under new government guidelines the capacity of the church is limited to 50%) but the Requiem Mass can be viewed on
Funeral afterwards to St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Little Island.
