DIARMUID (Dermot) O’ CONNOR Carrignashinny, Mogeely, (formerly Knocknaskaugh Killeagh, Bauravilla, Skibbereen, and Carrigeens, Leap) on November 18th 2025 peacefully in his 96th year in the loving care of his family at home. Predeceased by his son Rory and granddaughter Aoibhe. Brothers, Johnjo, Michael, Paddy, Tom, Con, Bernie and his sister Hannah and his sister-in-law Hannah. Deeply missed by his loving wife of 59 years Mary (nee O’Brien), his loving sister Margaret (McSweeney), Children Martin, Helen (Cusack) Finbarr, Derry, Ann (O’Neill) Kevin, Mary, John and Noel, sisters-in-law Nora, Kathleen, Eileen, Margaret and Siobhan, brother-in-law Frank, daughters-in-law Winnie, Angela, Emma, Annemarie and Martin’s partner Elaine, sons-in-law Randy and Ray. Adoring Grandfather and Great Grandfather of Laura, Caoimhe, Eoin, Ben, Conor, Darren, Orla, Darragh, Niamh, Oisin, Grainne, Rory, Tara, Fionn, Jack, Rian, Sara, Kate, Emma, Cian, Aoibhe (RIP) Lauren, Megan, Caragh and Evan and great grandchildren, Rob, Ronan and Lottie. Sadly missed by his family and his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Hyde's Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton P25VW02 from 5pm to 7.30pm on Thursday 20th November.

Arriving for Requiem Mass on Friday November 21st at 11am in St John the Baptist Church, Killeagh. Burial afterwards in St Fergal’s Cemetery, Killeagh.
