Diarmuid Manning

With broken hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved Diarmuid Manning of Kilmore House, Kilmore, Bandon on December 11th 2025, as a result of a tragic accident. He was a wonderful husband and cherished friend to Mary (nee Nyhan), adored father to Ella and Michael and loving son to Carmel and Michael.

 

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, children, parents, brother and sisters Olivia, Michelle, Michael and Sinead (Hickey), parents-in-law Tom and Ellen Nyhan, Hollyhill, Ballineen, brothers-in-law Alan, John and Michael, sister-in-law Urmee Khan, John's partner Joanna, uncles, aunts, nephew, nieces, cousins, extended family, work colleagues, wonderful neighbours and a large circle of great friends especially James Murphy.

 

Diarmuid will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon (eircode P72WE20) on Sunday from 2pm followed by prayers at 5pm.

 

Requiem Mass on Monday at 12noon in St. Mary's Church, Innishannon (family will be in attendance from 11am) after which Diarmuid will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.

Diarmuid's family will be forever grateful to the emergency services who attended the scene - the ambulance crew, An Garda Siochana, the Fire Brigade, West Cork Rapid Response, Dr. Jason and everybody who helped in any way.
