Diarmuid O'Donovan

O'Donovan (Union Hall): On December 25th, 2025 peacefully in the tender and loving care of the Doctors, nurses and staff of Bantry General Hospital, and in the presence of his heart-broken family, Diarmuid, much loved husband of the late Nancy, and dear father of Mary, Johnny and the late Joan Collins, and brother of the late Johnjoe & Peg (O'Sullivan). Deeply regretted by his loving family, grand-children Diarmuid and his wife Kathryn, Odharnait and her partner Andrew, Saidbh and Ultan, great grandchildren Dylan and Louis, son-in-law Pat (Collins), and daughter-in-law Joan, nephews Johnny and Diarmuid O'Sullivan and their families, kind and caring neighbours and his many close and dear friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his home in Ardagh, Union Hall P81 V293 on St. Stephen's Day, 26th December 2025 from 5pm to 7pm, followed by prayers. Diarmuid's funeral cortége will arrive at St. Brigid's Church at 11.15am on Saturday, 27th December 2025, followed by Requiem Mass at 12noon. Funeral immediately afterwards to Myross cemetery.
