Dick Martin

Martin, Dick (Richard) of Sutton and formerly of Glasnevin and late of Martin Packaging. Dick left us early on Tuesday 8th February 2022, following a brave and unwavering fight against cancer. He passed peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family. Loved by his wife Cáit, sons Richard and James, daughters Louise, Laura and Ellen, daughter-in-law Amy, sons-in-law Paul and Anthony, James' partner Celia, his adored grandchildren Dylan, Nadine, George, Sam, Isabelle, Ted and Thea, sisters Mona, Rita and Anne, and brothers Jim and Brendan. Predeceased by his mother Lily, father James (Seamus) siblings Matt, Carmel , Mary, and Brian. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours and remembered fondly by his loyal staff, friends and family at Martin Packaging.

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Wednesday, 9th February, from 2pm to 4pm.  Removal to St. Fintan's Church, Sutton on Thursday morning for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.  Family flowers only please.  Donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice.  House private.
