Dick (Richard) Whittle

Dick (Richard) Whittle late of Rathbran, Grangecon, Co. Wicklow – 3rd September 2025 peacefully at Sonas Nursing Home, Tullow. Loving husband to Ann; predeceased by his daughter Anna and his son Thomas.

He will be sadly missed by his loving children Miriam, Carmel, Tina, Richard, Caroline, Edel, Breeda and Owen, grandchildren and great grandchildren Thomas, Faith, Nathan, Amy, Adam, Jody, Dan, Aislinn, Hannah, Chris, Kym, Scott, Marcus, Josh, Noah, Abby, Emma, Lucas, Rhys, Lucy, Jack and Lily, sons-in law, daughter-in-law, his beloved sister Shelia and beloved sister-in-law Marie, sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and neighbours.

May Dick Rest In Peace.

Reposing at St. Paul’s Oratory, Baltinglass (Eircode W91 Y796) on Thursday, 4th September from 4pm with removal from there at 7pm to his residence for private reposal. Funeral arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Stratford-on-Slaney on Friday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest with Thomas and Anna in Rathbran Cemetery.
