Dill (Brigid) Young, St. Rioch’s Street, Kilkenny City peacefully on 19th March 2025 in University Hospital Waterford, surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Predeceased by her husband Billy.

Deeply regretted by her family, Michael, Caroline, James and Liam, son-in-law Ludy, Michael’s partner Lynda, daughters-in-law Sandra and Danela. Greatly missed and adored by her grandchildren Aoife, Sarah, Kieran, Luke, Orlagh, Olivia and great-grandchildren Lennea, Alva-Jane and Lochlan. Remembered by her sister Mary (Garvan), brother-in-law Frank, sister-in-law and best friend Mary Meighan, nieces, nephews, extended family, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

MAY DILL REST IN PEACE

Dill will be reposing in Shasby’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny City on Saturday 22nd March 2025 from 4.30pm to 7pm with rosary and vigil prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Sunday (23rd) in St. Mary’s Cathedral followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballykeeffe.

The Funeral Cortege will walk from Dill’s residence at 10.30am on Sunday morning to St. Mary’s Cathedral.
