FRANCIS, Dirk, Balbriggan & formerly of Mechelen, Belgium – 4th February 2026 - Peacefully, surrounded by family after a long illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of Michelle, adored father of Jess and Caelan, dear brother of Marleen and cherished uncle to Nikki and Glenn. He will also be sadly missed by his extended family especially his son-in-law Shane, nephew-in-law James, parents-in-law Esmond & Kitty & all his friends.

The family would like to sincerely thank all the staff at Hamilton Park Care Facility, in particular the Kingfisher Unit, who not only cared for him but loved him dearly for over 10 years.

Reposing in Hamilton Park Care Facility, Balrothery on Thursday, 5th February from 4pm to 8pm. Cremation will take place in Dardistown Crematorium on Friday, 6th February at 10am.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Huntington’s Disease Association of Ireland.
