Doctor Sheila Blackburn
(née Kirby)
BLACKBURN (nee Kirby) Doctor Sheila, (Templeogue, Dublin) February 11, 2016 (peacefully) in the wonderful and compassionate care of Orwell Nursing Home, Rathgar, after a long illness borne with characteristic determination and resolve; beloved wife of the late Captain A. M. Blackburn (Tony), loving mother to Brian (pre-deceased), Fiona and Neil, sister of Patricia and Henry (predeceased) and sister-in-law of Norman. She is sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Leonie, grandchildren Gary, Jeff and Carly, her relations, many friends, neighbours and colleagues in the medical profession.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Aungier Street. Funeral on Monday (15th February) after 10am Mass in St. Pius X Church, Templeogue to the Crematorium at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Focus Ireland.
