Dolly (Patricia) O'Brien
(née Whelan)

The death has occurred of Dolly (Patricia) O'Brien (nee Whelan) of 'Glendine', Ballyvoloon, Cobh, Co. Cork and formerly of Lismore, Co. Waterford, on 11th December 2020. Suddenly, but peacefully, in the presence of her loving family. Beloved wife of Eddie and much loved mother of Ger, Claire, Brendan, Paul, Bernice and Helen. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her loving husband, daughters, sons, brothers, sisters, adored grandchildren, daughters-in-law Clare and Kathleen, sons-in-law Eugene, Mark, Jay and the late TJ, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Dolly Rest in Peace

In accordance with government guidelines, the house will be private to family and close friends. Dolly's funeral cortège will leave her home  'Glendine' Ballyvoloon, Cobh, on Monday, 14th December, at 11am en route to St. Colman's Cathedral, Cobh for 11.30am requiem Mass, followed by funeral to St.Colman's Cemetery, Cobh. The funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.cobhcathedralparish.ie at 11.30am on Monday 14th December. 

For those who would have liked to attend Dolly's funeral service but cannot do so due to the current Covid restrictions, please leave a personal message in the condolence section below.
