Dolores (Dolie) Benson
(née O'Connell)
Late resident of Athlunkard Nursing Home.
On November 28th 2023, peacefully, at St. John's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Sammy and sister Breda.
Dearly loved mum of Marian, Pat, Sam and Ed.
Sadly missed by her adored grandchildren Niamh, Eoin, Saorise, Loeva and Connor, son-in-law Eugene, daughters-in-law Fabienne and Angela, sisters Marie Payne, Theresa Lenihan, Nuala Browne and Rose Clancy, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and neighbours.
A sincere thank you to the Staff of Athlunkard Nursing Home and St. John's Hospital for their professionalism and kindness to Dolie.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, on Thursday, November 30th, from 4.30pm to 6pm.
Funeral will arrive on Friday, December 1st, at St. Mary's Church, Athlunkard Street, for Requiem Mass at 11am, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (extension) Cemetery.
