It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Dolores Hayes, Sean Heuston Place, Limerick and Ex Limerick Shoe Factory and Krups Engineering

On January 21st 2026, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by family.

Pre-deceased by parents Mary and Mick and brothers Stephen and Richard.

Very deeply regretted by sisters Mary, Lily, Teresa and Majella, brother Augustine, sister-in-law Liz, brothers-in-law Mike, Jimmy, Mike and Sean, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, four-legged companion Buster, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Friday, January 23rd, from 4pm to 5.30pm.

Funeral will arrive Saturday, January 24th, at St. John’s Cathedral, Cathedral Place, for Requiem Mass at 1pm, followed by private Cremation.

Dolores’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to G.P. Dr. Peter Hayes and his staff, Doctors and the amazing Nurses and Staff of Ward 12B University Hospital Limerick for their support in Dolores’s final days.
