Formerly of Mountjoy Square. Peacefully after a short illness in the loving care of his family and the staff of the ICU, Mater Hospital.  Beloved husband of Doreen and loving father of Tracey, Cathy and Julie. Sadly missed by his family, brothers, sisters, grandchildren Timmy, Stephen, Dean, Nicole, Ciarán and David, great-grandchildren Carley, Sophie, Heidi and Flynn, sons-in-law Mick and Ronan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews (especially Alan), relatives, neighbours and friends.  

Reposing at his home from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday evening, August 16th and again from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday evening, August 17th.  Funeral Mass on Thursday morning, August 18th, at 11am in the Church of St. Francis Xavier, Gardiner Street, followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. No flowers please. Donations in lieu to the ICU, c/o the Mater Hospital Foundation, 54 Eccles Street, Dublin 7 or at www.materfoundation.ie (donation box at rear of church).
