AHERNE (Hettyfield, Douglas, Cork): On September 5th, 2022, peacefully, at home DON (late of Novartis), dearly beloved husband of Ethel and loving father of Justin, adored grandfather of Bonnie, Penny and Henry.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brothers Barry, Fr. Francis O.S.A and Tony, brother-in-law Billy and his partner Rose, sisters-in-law Aileen and Claire, nephews, niece, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday (September 6th) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Wednesday (September 7th) in St. Joseph’s S.M.A Church, Blackrock Road which can be viewed on
