On Wednesday, 28 May 2025, Don completed his life’s journey in his 93 rd year, very peacefully at home surrounded by his dearly loved wife Marie and family. Predeceased by his parents John and Kathleen and by his brother Dermot. He will be greatly missed by his wife Marie, their children and families; Noreen and her husband Terry, John and his partner Sabena, Mark and his wife Michele, Padraic, David, Laura and her husband Paddy and his grandchildren Kate, Meghan and Clara and grandsons Brendan (Ben) and Ruairi who he loved dearly. Fondly remembered by his much loved brother Sean, sister Eithne, brothers-in-law Patrick and Donal Fitzgerald and Jim O’Brien, sisters-in-law Lola and Helen, by his close friend and carer Blessing and extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Don on arrival at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill at 12 noon and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
