Donal (Donie) Halpin

Formerly of Abbey Road, Navan.

Peacefully after a short illness, in the exemplary care of the doctors nurses and staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, with his wife and sister-in-law at his side.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Maura, brothers Joe, Brendan & David and sister Anne.

Donie will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Olive and sister-in-law Gret, brothers Fergus, George, and Vincent, sisters Helen Fennessy, Frances Varris and Joan Russell, brothers-in-law Willie, Joe and Anthony and sisters-in-law Kathleen, Phyllis and Kay, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends and his adored little dog poppy.

May Donie’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence, Castlebridge House, Athlumney (C15 H680), on Friday, 9th February, from 3pm to 7pm. Removal from his residence on Saturday, 10th February, at 10:15am, arriving to St Mary’s Church, Navan, for 11am Funeral Mass, which can be viewed live on https://www.navanparish.ie/livestream. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Boyne Road, Navan. House private at all other times.
