The death has occurred of
Donal (Donny) Doherty
Doherty (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and former photographer for the Irish Independent) July 14th., 2025 (peacefully) at home, surrounded by his loving family, Donal (Donny), beloved husband of Marie and much-loved father of Aidan, Claire and Áine and a devoted grandfather of Tom, Olivia, Finn, Róisín, Killian, Tadhg, Christina and Paul; sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Phelim and Philip, daughter-in-law Mabel, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Wednesday evening (July 16th) between 5pm and 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning (July 17th) to the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery.
