Donal (Ducky) LYONS

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Donal (Ducky) Lyons, Garryowen and formerly of Kennedy Park, Limerick and Ex 12th Infantry Battalion Sarsfield Barracks, Star Rovers F.C. and Prospect Priory.

 

On December 10th 2025, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.

 

Pre-deceased by his mother Bernie.

 

Very deeply regretted by sons Nathan and Dean, daughter Cassandra, father Vincent, grandchildren Levi and Mya, sisters Sandra and Elaine, brothers Peter, Gerard and John, nephews, nieces, lifelong friend Bernie, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Saturday, December 13th, from 3pm to 4.30pm.

Funeral will arrive Sunday, December 14th, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Roxboro Road, for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm,

Funeral afterwards to Castlemungret Cemetery, Mungret.
