On November 18th, 2025, Donal passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff of Bantry General Hospital. Cherished husband of Mary (née Twomey), loving father of Seán, Daniel, Finbarr, Máire and the late Áine, adored grandad (Pops) of Ava, Megan, Lana, and Tommy, loving brother of Kitty, Nora (Lucey), Siobhán (Healy), Bríd (Cronin) and the late Maura (Lawlor), Nancy (Twomey) and Margaret (Day). Sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Catherine (Hyde), and Karyn (Treacy), grandchildren, sisters, brother-in-law Tadgh, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, carers and friends.

 

Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at his home "Ard na Linne", Kilmore (P12 DT21) on Thursday evening from 6.00pm with prayers at 8.00pm.

 

Requiem Mass on Friday at 2.00pm in Ss. Finbarr and Ronan's Church, Ballingeary.

 

Funeral afterwards to Inchigeela Cemetery.
