DONAL O’SULLIVAN (Butcher), Derrymihan, Castletownbere, Beara, Co.Cork on the 23rd December 2025.

We are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Donal.

Donal died surrounded by his loving family and is survived by his adoring wife and best friend Aisling (nee Connell), his son Cormac, daughter Niamh and his much loved granddaughter Paloma.

Donal will be deeply missed by his daughter-in-law Leila, son-in-law Shane, sisters Maureen and Anne, brothers Sean, Mike (Mylie), Oliver and Martin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and beloved nephews and nieces.

Through his contribution to Sport, Community and the Fishing Industry, Donal brought joy and enrichment to so many lives and he will be deeply missed by all the people who loved him dearly.

Reposing in Harrington’s Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Friday (26th December) from 2pm to 5pm followed by removal to his home.

HOUSE PRIVATE.

Requiem mass will take place in The Church Of The Sacred Heart, Castletownbere on Saturday (27th December) at 12 midday followed by burial in St.Mary’s Cemetery in Droum.

Funeral cortège will leave Donal’s home at approximately 11.30am.

Contributions in lieu of flowers to Beara Bord na nÓg if desired.
