Donal O'Sullivan

O’SULLIVAN (“Sunview”, Gullane, Clonakilty and formerly of Ballinroher, Timoleague): on October 18th 2024 peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at Bushmount Nursing Home, Clonakilty. DONAL (in his 93rd year) beloved and devoted husband of Mary (nee O’Donovan) much loved father of Cionnaith, Declan (Sydney), Sandra (Walsh, Grenagh), Leonard (Sydney), Terence (Sydney) and Gilbert, brother of the late Seamus, Pat, Denis, Sheila (Moloney) and Nora (White). Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, son-in-law Tim, daughters-in-law Nina, Geraldine and Brietta, grandchildren Nick, Darcy, Kate, Ian, Lucas, Stephanie, James, Chrysta, Grace, Finn, Ivy, Liam, D.J., Alex and Sean, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024, from 5pm to 7.30pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Thursday, October 24th 2024, at 1pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to Darrara Cemetery.

Donal’s Funeral Cortege will leave the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty after Requiem Mass via Emmet Square, Casement Street, Convent Hill, Gullane (pausing at his residence), turning left at Lackenalooha, pausing at his former home in Ballinroher and onwards to Darrara Cemetery.
