Donal (Pop) McCarthy
McCARTHY (Tawnies Crescent, Clonakilty): on March 8th 2024 peacefully at his residence. DONAL (Pop) beloved husband of Joan (nee O’Donovan), dearly loved father of Mary, Pauline, David and Siobhan, brother of the late Michael, Denis, John and Teresa. Sadly missed by his wife, family, sister Babs, son-in-law Martin, Patrick and Daniel, daughter-in-law Denise, grandchildren Luke, Reuben, Shane, Niamh, Ciara, Caoimhe, Peter, Cathal, Jill and Elaine, great-granddaughters Maddi and Evie, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Saturday, March 9th 2024, from 6pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty on Monday, March 11th 2024, at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.
Family flowers only. Donation in lieu of flowers, if desired to Marymount University Hospice.
