Donald Edward (Don) Wood

Donald Edward (Don) Wood, late of Lymm, Cheshire (UK) formerly of Ellenville, Moneygave East, Coppeen, Enniskeane, Co. Cork, died peacefully on 5th March 2023 in Warrington Hospital surrounded by his family.

Beloved husband to Patricia (née Carroll), proud father of David, Paul, Simon and Catriona, loving grandfather to Ava, Cian and Aisling, and his new granddaughter due in 2 weeks. Predeceased by his siblings Val and Olive, he will be missed by his sister Margaret, daughters-in-law Kate, Emma and Shanna, son-in-law-to-be Dylan, and all his cousins, nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law to many, friend to all, he will be greatly missed.

Don’s funeral service will take place at 12pm on 14th April 2023 at Altrincham Crematorium, Whitehouse Lane, Dunham Massey WA14 5RH (UK), followed by refreshments from 1:30pm at High Legh Golf Club, Warrington Road, High Legh WA16 0WA.
