Donal (Donie) Collins Brown Island, Ballintubber, Carrigtwohill, on August 15th peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, under the exceptional care of the staff at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice.

Donie, beloved husband of Maura (nee Broderick), adored father of Séamus, John, Sinéad & Donal, much loved brother of Willie, Jim & Kathleen (O’ Brien). Adored grandfather of Clodagh, Caoimhe, Daniel, Cara & Darragh. Brother in law of the late Tim, Fr. Donal, Sean & Eddie.

Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters in law Barbara & Mary, son in law Daniel, sisters in law Ann (Broderick), Ita & Anne, nephews, nieces, neighbours & a wide circle of friends.

Lying in repose at his residence (Brown Island, Ballintubber, Carrigtwohill T45 NY23) on Sunday the 17th August 2025, from 4pm to 7pm. Reception into St Mary's Church Carrigtwohill on Monday the 18th August 2025 for 2.30pm Funeral Mass, followed by burial in in St Mary’s Cemetery.
