Donie Conway

The death has occurred of Donie Conway of Derrevrin, Abbeydorney, Co. Kerry.

 

Donie passed away peacefully in University Hospital Kerry on 5th February 2026, youngest and last surviving child of the late Michael and Mary (nee Edwards), beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Allen) and dear father of Marie, Joe, Ger, Mark, Maurice and the late Karen,

 

Donie will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

 

May Donie rest in peace.

 

Reposing at The Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Sunday 8th February from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. Michael’s Church, Lixnaw on Monday morning where the Requiem Mass for Donie will take place at 11 a.m. (streamed on www.churchcamlive.ie/lixnaw-parish-live-stream). Interment afterwards in Kiltomey Cemetery, Lixnaw.

 

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Palliative Care Unit, U.H.K. (via “Donation” link below – Kerry Hospice Foundation), or care of the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee.
