Donie Twomey

Twomey (Banteer); On July 16th 2025, Donie, Derry, Banteer (formerly of Kilcorney), passed away unexpectedly at home. Much loved husband of Peg (née Cremin) and beloved father of Niamh (Lane), Seán, Sarah and the late Noreen Margaret. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Nora. Deeply regretted by his brothers Jerry and John, sisters Mary (Barry) and Margaret (Lucey), son-in-law Kieran, daughter-in-law Claire, Sarah’s partner Ted, his adored grandchildren Cara, Freya, Clodagh, Isla and Sadie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand nieces, grand nephews, carer JJ, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his home in Derry, (P51Y8N3) on Saturday 19th July from 4pm to 8pm. Reception into St Fursey's Church, Banteer on Monday 21st July for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live at http://www.churchservices.tv/banteer Burial afterwards in St Fursey's Cemetery, Banteer.
