Dora Looney
(née Mullane)
The death has taken place of Dora Looney (nee Mullane), Ballymacmoy, Killavullen and formerly Rockforest, Mallow, who passed away peacefully on February 28th 2024 at Mallow General Hospital, surrounded by her family with an abundance of love, beloved wife of the late Pa, dear mother of Mairead (Tester), Connie, Paddy, Bernard, Doreen (Buckley), Norma (O'Mahony), Michael and Helain (Harnedy), sister of the late Nora Fitzsimons, Patrick, Nealie and Helen (Nell Burke) and grandmother of the late Maya Grace. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Ken, John, Pat and John, daughters-in-law Anne, Rose and Denise, her adored 15 grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, great neighbours and a large circle of amazing friends.

Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Friday (March 1st) from 6.30pm with Prayers at 8.30pm.
Reception into St. Nicholas' Church, Killavullen on Saturday (March 2nd) for Requiem Mass at 11.30am which may be viewed on www.mycondolences.ie with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
