DOREEN CAREY (Ellen Mary Casey, née O’Toole) St. Mary’s Road, Midleton. On January 21st 2022 unexpectedly but peacefully at Cork University Hospital. Loving mother of Mary (Kearney), Leo, Seamus, Peter and the late Denis (Casey). Sadly missed also by her son in law Martin, daughters in law Theresa and Pauline, sisters Betty (Lewis), Peg (Wickham), Maeve (Cronin) and Angela (O’Toole), brother Leo, grandchildren Priscilla, Leona, Helena, Leo Michael, Serena, Adam, Eoin, Colm, Dylan and Jessica, great-grandchildren Grace and Harry, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Anyone attending a funeral is reminded to adhere to continuing guidance regarding the use of Hand Sanitiser and Mask Wearing indoors especially. Handshaking is optional and a personal choice for each family.

Doreen will repose on Wednesday 26th from 5.30pm to 7pm for family and friends in Hyde's Funeral Home. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
