The death has occurred of
Doreen Fitzsimons
(née O'Reilly)
Doreen Fitzsimons (née O’Reilly) of Rathfarnham/Harold’s Cross, died on June 2nd, 2025 peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Tallaght University Hospital’s MSSU and Lynn Wards. Beloved wife of Tom, married for 64 years. Adored mother of Brian, Ann, Barbara and Gemma. Cherished Nana to Jonathan, Kevin, Laura, Rebecca, Seán, Marina, Michael and Veronika, and great grandson Sidney. Greatly missed by her sister Eileen Quinn (Massachusetts). Affectionately remembered by her daughter-in-law Patty, son-in-law Paul, and granddaughters-in-law Hannah and Sara. Sadly, missed by all her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Doreen is pre-deceased by her parents, Michael and Mary O’Reilly, sisters Nan, Lil and Patty, and brothers, Michael, Seamus and Fintan. Special thanks to the staff of InisCare, in particular Glory Egbekhibo Onekpe.

Reposing at home Wednesday 4th June from 5pm to 7pm 2025(Prayers at 6.45pm). Funeral Mass Thursday 5th June in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham at 10am followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.
