Doreen Hodman

Doreen passed away on Wednesday, 3rd January 2024, in the care of University Hospital Waterford.

In accordance with her wishes, Doreen generously donated her body to medical science at the University of Galway, to aid in the silent teaching of others.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Sam, her infant daughter Mary, her mother Mary (née Myler), and her siblings Jimmy, Biddy, and Kathleen. Dearly loved mother of Michael, Sammy, Paddy, Bill, Mary, and Kate, and sister to Margaret. Doreen is also fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and her cherished seventeen grandchildren.

Doreen will be laid to rest following a burial ceremony on Friday, 4th July, at 12 noon, in Ballyhack Cemetery, New Ross, Co. Wexford.
