The death has occurred of Doreen Claire O’Flaherty (née Broderick)

Glenabo Heights, Fermoy and late of Abbeyside, Dungarvan .

Doreen died peacefully on February 6th 2025 in the presence of her heart broken sole mate, husband Maurice and adoring family in the exceptional care of the staff at St. Patrick’s’ Community Hospital, Fermoy. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Mary (Babs) Broderick.

Loving wife of Maurice. Dearly loved and loving mother of Oliver, Deirdre (O’Connor), Killian, Hilary (Quirke), Vivian, Cliona (Bartley), Darian (Byrne) and Odette (Hanlon). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, her cousin and best friend Maureen Fitzgerald and daughter Laura Ryan. Grandchildren Becky, Kenneth, Robin, Nicholas, Natalie, Cillian Jr. Shanon, Sonya, James, Clodagh, Katelyn, Muiris, Bríanne, Tiernan, Orlaith, Samuel and Shane Óg, great-grandchildren Sophie, Aimee, Emma, Logan, Eoin, Niall, Aidan, Avery, Cadain, Harley Claire, Austin Maurice, Dermot and Oran, daughters-in-law Jennie, Margaret and Maria, sons-in-law Eugene, Finbarr, Jim, Padraig and Shane, brother-in-law Oliver, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace

Doreen will repose at Ronayne’s Funeral Home, Fermoy, Saturday from 4.00. until 5.30.pm. followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Fermoy. Funeral Mass Sunday at 12 noon burial afterwards in Kilcrumper new cemetery.
