Doreta Landen
(née Sherwood)
LANDEN (Rathcormac, Co Cork): On 23rd February 2026, peacefully, in the care of the staff at the Bon Secours Hospital, DORETA (née Sherwood), dear wife of John, loving mother of Adrian and Gwenda (Goff), cherished grandmother of Matthew, Philip and Sarah, and sister of the late John (wife Jackie) and David (wife Kate).
Sadly missed by her husband and family, daughter-in-law Linda, son-in-law Mark, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Adrian and Linda’s home in Maulane West, Rathcormac, P61 CR33, on Wednesday, 25th February. Visitors welcome from 2.00pm to 8.00pm.
House and service private on Thursday, 26th February.
Burial in Rathcormac Cemetery at 12 noon. All are welcome at the graveside. Refreshments and opportunity to meet the family afterwards.
Doreta’s family would like to thank sincerely Dr Jaber and the staff of Meadow Park Surgery, the staff of O’Reilly’s Allcare Pharmacy, her many consultants, and the staff of the Critical Care Unit in the Bon Secours Hospital for their exceptional care.
