Peacefully on the 2nd December 2025 in the loving care of the staff at Portiuncula Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Jimmy and Cecilia, brother Jimmy, sister-in-law Marie, nephews Jimmy and Conor. Doris will be sadly missed by her loving husband Ken, their children Andrew, David, Paul and Elizabeth. Daughters-in-law Kelly and Karen, son-in-law Brian Donohoe. Her beautiful grandchildren Austin, Dylan, Tess, Conor, Ema and Seán. Her brothers Johnny, Benny and Eddie, sisters-in-law Mona, Sheila, Susanne and Kathi and all her nephews and nieces.

Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Granard, Co. Longford (Eircode N39AX97) on Thursday 4th from 5.30pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday 5th to St. Mary’s Church, Granard for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by Christian burial in the Granardkill Cemetery.
