(née Armstrong)
Dorothea (Dorothy) Beattie (née Armstrong) of Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, died on Sunday, 22nd February, 2026, in her 97th year, in the exceptional, kind and compassionate care of Cairnhill Nursing Home, Bray. Much loved and loving wife of the late James, treasured Mum of Jonathan, Ruth, Janet and Sarah and mother-in-law of Sue, Mike and David, adoring Granny of Sarahlouise, Hannah, Emily, Harry and James, great-Granny of Rafael and much loved sister of Hilary.
A Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate Dorothy’s wonderful life will take place on Thursday (26th February) at 2.00pm in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Quinsborough Road, Bray followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Churchyard, Powerscourt, Enniskerry.
