The death has occurred of Dorothy (Dorrie) Faherty (née McCabe)
Rossvilla, Oughterard, Co. Galway, June 10th 2020. Peacefully, at home, in the tender and loving care of her family. Beloved wife of Padraig and loving mother of Catherine and Patrick, grandmother of Eoin, Cian, Diarmuid, Padraig and Cate. Sadly missed by her loving family, sister Phil (Canada), daughter in law Josephine, son in law Johnny, brother in law, sisters in law, niece, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.
In keeping with government public health guidelines, a private funeral will take place at 11am on Saturday, 13th June 2020, in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oughterard, with burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice. Those wishing to express their sympathies may do so by signing the condolence page below.
