Dorothy Perkins

Carrickmines, Dublin / Castleblayney, Monaghan

Dorothy Perkins of Carrickmines, Dublin and formerly of Drumgoose, Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan. Passed away peacefully on 1st March 2026 surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the wonderful staff of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

 

Sadly missed and deeply loved by her devoted husband Derek, her children Yvonne, Tanya and Jonathan, their partners Niall, Pete and Denise, her adored grandchildren Rebecca, Lauryn, Sophie, Juliette, Joshua, her much loved brothers and sisters, extended family and wide circle of friends and neighbours.

 

Dorothy will be remembered always for her kindness, warmth, sense of humour and deep devotion to her family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

 

May she Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock (A94 X308), on Thursday 5th March from 5pm - 7pm. Arriving to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock (D18 N2F7), on Friday 6th March at 9.40am for reception at 9.45am. Words of Appreciation will be given by the family prior to the commencement of the Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold's Cross (D6W YY20).

The family would like to extend their sincere and heartfelt thanks to Professor Emmet McGrath and the dedicated staff of St Vincents Private Hospital for the kindness, compassion and exceptional care shown to Dorothy during her time there.
