Douglas Thornton
THORNTON, Douglas (Rathfarnham, Dublin) August 17, 2019, peacefully, in the presence of his family, at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross; beloved husband of the late Frances and great-grandfather of the late Alice, loving father of Marc, Paul, Niki (Walsh) and John. Very deeply regretted by his brother Peter, sister-in-law Eleanor, daughters-in-law Ann, Ricci, Mags and Kathy, son-in-law Dave, grandchildren Sarah, Debi, Christopher, Aisling, Rachel, Amy, Ronan, Emma, Charlie and Finn, great-grandchildren Casper, Josh and Nell, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his home on Monday evening from 6. 00 o’c until 8.00 o’c. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12.00 o’c noon then to Newlands Cross Crematorium.
