Dr. Ciarán Cassidy

Cassidy,  Dr. Ciarán (Ballyedmonduff, Stepaside, County Dublin and formerly of Midfield, Swinford, Co. Mayo). 9th July, 2022, peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff at Belmont House Nursing Home, Leopardstown, County Dublin. 

Darling husband of Gene (née O’Sullivan) and adoring father of Ciara, Rose, John (Fran), Eugene, Everina, Ciarán and Lisa. Muched loved father-in-law to Scott, Stephen, Emer, Evelyn, Jonathan, Clair and John. Treasured and beloved grandfather of his 19 grandchildren - Matthew, Aidan, Aoibh, Lexi, Grace, Aisling, Clíona, Michael, Laura, Isabelle, Ella, Eoghan, Dara, Harry, Darcey, Louis, Lizzie, Jennifer and Julia Rose.

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters - Phil, Fr. Peadar, John, Alice, Pat, Sr. Justin (Sadie), Marietta, Canon Michael, Monsignor Martin and Mary (Gaughan).

So sadly missed by his extended family, including many nieces, nephews and also by his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his family home in Stepaside on Monday (11th July) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday (12th July) at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybroook followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Churchyard Cemetery, Glencullen.
