The death has occurred of
Dr. Cornelius McCarthy
MCCARTHY (Oakwood, Duntahane Road, Fermoy, Ipswich & Novo Sancti Petri) on June 27th, 2018, peacefully, in the tender loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff at University Hospital of Puerto Real, Cádiz in the presence of his loving family Dr. Cornelius McCarthy beloved husband of Céline and devoted son of Marguerita (Peggy) and the late Andrew McCarthy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, daughters Ciara and Carolyn, mother, sisters Mary, Alice, Elizabeth and Bernadette, mother-in-law Elizabeth Weldon, son-in-law Alasdair McBride, uncles, aunts, his godmother Ailish, nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Reposing at Ronayne's Funeral Home, Fermoy on Friday, 6th July, from 6.00pm to 7.30pm followed by Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Fermoy. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 7th July, at 12 Noon Funeral afterwards at Kilcrumper New Cemetery, Fermoy.
As an esteemed and dedicated doctor, it was Cornelius' wish throughout his life to support the development of medicine. Donations (if desired) to The Irish Heart Foundation. Family flowers only please.
