Wicklow Town, Ireland,
previously of Powell River, British Columbia, Canada, died peacefully on 16th October 2025.
He was born in Camolin, County Wexford, in 1936 and was predeceased by his wife Dr. Gwenda Hutchinson. He leaves behind his brothers Thomas and Denis Teevan, daughter Genevieve Bates (née Teevan), and grandchildren Max, Antoinette and Wolf Bates. In accordance with Derek’s wishes, there will be an unattended cremation in Dublin.
